You love cats

Cats are easy to draw and everyone loves cat comics. Every situation they're in is automatically funny. Or at least I convince myself of that. The comic contains love, and violence, and cats, which are the only things that grab anyone's attention anymore.

I'm not sure what the story is with the background there. Maybe they're in a liquor store? Or a bar? Some place that you're unlikely to actually find cats. But if you did, they would definitely be macking on fellow cats, who also don't belong there. My cat just stays outside all the time, because he pees in the house just everywhere. It's actually cold now, and he wants to come in all the time now. And then I have to kick him in his sad furry face.

I wonder how much of our bizarre human world cats can relate to. They eat. We eat. They poop. We poop. They want to ravage other cats, as do we. I ravage cats all the time. And they want to kill small things. I do too, but also want to have friends. So I refrain. Cats don't care. They just fuck, and kill, and eat, and poop, and fuck and kill some more. And then we pet them and feed them and speak in obnoxious voices to them.

If I tried to act like a cat for even a day, I would be arrested, or at best living on the street within a day. If I peed on my boss's desk, he wouldn't yell at me and then rub my scalp five minutes later. If I jumped on top of the table and jammed my face into someone's bowl of pasta, they wouldn't knock me off and then pet my scalp a few minutes later. If I drank all my friend's whiskey, they wouldn't be OK with it. Cats love whiskey.
